Alphalogical is a startup company founded by DEI Enterprises, a holding company, think tank, incubator, and accelerator that creates new businesses, and also helps grow existing businesses. The first company DEI incubated was Alphalogical, which carries on our proud web, print, multimedia design and development tradition.

Alphalogical’s goal is to transform the way projects, and companies, are managed. History
Alphalogical was founded upon the combined knowledge, skills, and experience accumulated by First Principal Doug Elwell over his 30 years in the communications and technology industries. Having focused primarily on providing marketing, technology, and related services for the first 20 years of his career, his experiences during that time made it clear how important good management is. As a result, for the last 10 years Doug has focused more on management consulting in order to help prevent business problems before they start.

Doug Elwell
Founder & First Principal
Doug Elwell, Founder & First Principal of Alphalogical, is a seasoned manager, web & mobile architect, developer, business analyst, project manager, and certified scrum master who has worked in Chicago tech since 1997. His professional experience spans a variety of related disciplines, including web design and development, information architecture, user experience, business analysis, project management, scrum mastering (ScrumAlliance and SAFe), and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle from ideation to implementation.
